“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3).
There is simplicity in Christ and His message:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18, 19)
This is what the Lord Jesus Christ has provided:
Redemption
Healing
Deliverance
Recovery
Liberty
Abundant life
Christ said:
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:9, 10)
The abundant life sounds very good, don’t you think? Following Christ as Saviour and Lord is the key. None of our problems are too big for God to deal with, as we put our trust in Him.
God loves you, and His message is to mankind is clear and simple:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
